Dr. Reena Zacharias
Dr. Reena Zacharias is the new owner of Panorama Village Animal Hospital. This new endeavour is motivated by the passion to provide compassionate, high quality health care for the pets and excellent service for clients. Her interests lay in companion animal wellness, soft tissue surgery and regenerative medicine. She believes in keeping her veterinarian skills current and sharp through continuing education, so that she can offer the best for her patients each time.
After graduating Veterinary Medicine in 1991, she proceeded to pursue her Masters degree in Veterinary Immunology.
She worked as a Senior Research Fellow at Bombay Veterinary College before deciding to open a small animal clinic.
Her husband's job detachment saw Dr. Zacharias move to Malaysia, a country of abundant natural beauty. While there, she had the privilege to work for a 24 hour Veterinary Referral and Critical Care Facility. Once in Canada, she continued in the small animal practice while working towards her Board Exams and licensure. As a veterinarian, working both as an associate and locum at various practices has helped her gain invaluable experience.
Outside of Veterinary medicine, spending time with her family, traveling, reading and exploring new cultures excites Dr. Zacharias. She and her husband are blessed with a son and a daughter.
